My Lux Vacation ("My Lux Vacation," "we," "us," or "our") respects your privacy and is committed to protecting the personal information you share with us. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect through our website at myluxvacation.com (the "Site") and in the course of providing our travel planning and booking services (the "Services"), how we use and share that information, and the choices and rights available to you.

By using the Site or our Services, you agree to the practices described in this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.

1. Who We Are

My Lux Vacation is a luxury travel agency based in the Mechanicsburg, Pennsylvania area. We plan and book cruises, all-inclusive resorts, honeymoons, corporate travel, and custom destination experiences. 2. Information We Collect

2.1 Information you provide to us

When you submit an inquiry through our contact or trip-request forms, request a quote, subscribe to our communications, or otherwise interact with us, we may collect:

  • Contact details — first and last name, email address, and phone number (including mobile number).

  • Travel preferences and trip details — destination, travel dates and departure, number of travelers, budget, and any comments, messages, or special requests you include.

  • Communication and marketing preferences — whether you have opted in to receive our newsletter, text messages, or other communications.

  • Booking and traveler information — when we plan and book travel for you, we (and our travel suppliers) may collect additional details needed to complete a reservation, such as the names, dates of birth, and travel-document or passport information of all travelers, frequent-traveler numbers, accommodation and dietary preferences, and accessibility needs.

  • Account information — if you register for a member, affiliate, or vendor area of our Site, the login and profile details associated with that account.

You can choose not to provide certain information, but doing so may limit our ability to respond to your inquiry or arrange your travel.

2.2 Information collected automatically

When you visit the Site, we and our service providers may automatically collect:

  • Device and usage data — IP address, browser type, operating system, referring and exit pages, pages viewed, links clicked, and the dates and times of your visits.

  • Cookies and similar technologies — see the Cookies and Tracking Technologies section.

  • Session activity — we use product-analytics tools that may record on-page interactions (such as mouse movement, clicks, scrolling, and page navigation) to help us understand how visitors use the Site and to improve it. We may receive information about you from third parties, such as travel suppliers, referral or affiliate partners, and social media platforms when you interact with our content or links on those platforms.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

  • Respond to your inquiries and provide quotes, recommendations, and consultations;

  • Plan, book, and manage your travel arrangements, and communicate with you about them;

  • Process and administer member, affiliate, or vendor accounts;

  • Send you newsletters, text messages, offers, and other marketing communications where you have opted in or where otherwise permitted by law (you can opt out at any time — see the Your Choices and Rights section);

  • Operate, maintain, analyze, and improve the Site and our Services;

  • Detect, prevent, and address fraud, security issues, and technical problems; and

  • Comply with our legal obligations and enforce our terms and agreements.

4. Cookies and Tracking Technologies

We use cookies and similar technologies (such as pixels and local storage) to operate the Site, remember your preferences, measure traffic, and understand how the Site is used. The categories we use include:

  • Strictly necessary — required for the Site to function and to keep it secure (for example, our content-delivery and security provider, Cloudflare).

  • Analytics and performance — to understand how visitors use the Site so we can improve it. We use PostHog for product analytics. PostHog's session-recording feature may capture how you interact with pages (clicks, scrolling, navigation, and similar activity). We may also use Google Analytics for aggregate traffic measurement.

Most browsers let you refuse or delete cookies through their settings. Blocking some cookies may affect how the Site works. Where required by law, we will request your consent before placing non-essential cookies.

Do Not Track. Some browsers offer a "Do Not Track" signal. Because there is no common industry standard for how to respond to these signals, the Site does not currently respond to them.

5. How We Share Your Information

We do not sell your personal information for money. We share information only as described below:

  • Travel suppliers. To arrange and fulfill your travel, we share the information necessary to complete a booking with the relevant suppliers — for example airlines, cruise lines, hotels and resorts, tour and excursion operators, car-rental companies, transfer providers, and travel insurers. These suppliers use your information under their own privacy policies, which we encourage you to review.

  • Service providers. We share information with vendors who perform services on our behalf, such as website hosting and backend infrastructure (our Site is built and hosted on the Emergent platform), analytics, content delivery and security, email and communications, and similar functions. These providers are permitted to use your information only to provide services to us.

  • Legal and protective disclosures. We may disclose information where we believe it is required to comply with applicable law, legal process, or a government request, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of My Lux Vacation, our clients, or others.

  • Business transfers. If we are involved in a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction, subject to this Privacy Policy.

6. Mobile and SMS Text Messaging (Messaging Program Terms)

This section describes our text-messaging program and serves as our messaging terms and conditions. It applies if you provide your mobile number and opt in to receive text messages from us.

How you opt in. You can opt in on our website contact page at myluxvacation.com/contact by checking the box(es) to consent to receive informational (conversational/customer care) and/or marketing text messages from My Lux Vacation, sent from +1 (717) 759-5833. Consent is not a condition of any purchase.

Message types. We send two types of text messages:

  • Conversational / customer care (informational): responses to messages you send us and information relevant to your relationship with us — for example, answers to questions about quotes, trips, and pricing.

  • Marketing: messages that promote our products and services, such as discount codes and special deals.

Message frequency and rates. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply.

Opting out and help. You can unsubscribe at any time by replying STOP to any message. Reply HELP for help or more information. You may also contact us using the details in the Contact Us section below.

No sharing of mobile information. We do not share your mobile opt-in information with anyone, and we do not share, sell, rent, or otherwise disclose your mobile number or SMS opt-in information with third parties or affiliates for their own marketing or promotional purposes. We disclose SMS-related information only to the service providers and messaging aggregators that help us deliver text messages to you (for example, our SMS platform provider and the mobile carriers), who may use it only as needed to transmit the messages we send on your behalf. SMS registrant and consumer data is not sold, transferred, or disclosed to any external organization, except to deliver the messages you requested or as required by law.

7. Third-Party Services and Links

The Site uses or links to third-party services, including Google Fonts, image providers, embedded maps (Google Maps), and our social media profiles (such as Facebook, Instagram, and LinkedIn). When you interact with these services or follow these links, the relevant third party may collect information about you under its own privacy policy. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of third parties.

8. How Long We Keep Your Information

We keep personal information for as long as needed to fulfill the purposes described in this Policy — including responding to your inquiry, providing our Services, maintaining business and travel records, and meeting legal, tax, accounting, and dispute-resolution requirements — after which we delete or de-identify it. Retention periods vary depending on the type of information and the reason we hold it.

9. How We Protect Your Information

We use reasonable administrative, technical, organizational, and contractual controls designed to protect personal information against loss, misuse, and unauthorized access, use, or sharing. Where we engage service providers to process personal information on our behalf, they are contractually permitted to use that information only to provide the services we have contracted them to perform, and not for their own purposes. However, no method of transmission over the internet or method of electronic storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

10. Your Choices and Rights

10.1 Marketing communications

You can opt out of marketing emails at any time by using the unsubscribe link in our messages or by contacting us, and you can opt out of text messages at any time as described in the Mobile and SMS Text Messaging section. We may still send you non-marketing messages about trips you have booked or inquiries you have made.

10.2 Access, correction, and deletion

You may request to access, correct, update, or delete the personal information we hold about you. To make a request, contact us using the details in the Contact Us section below. We will respond consistent with applicable law and may need to verify your identity before acting on a request.

10.3 California residents (CCPA/CPRA)

If you are a California resident, you have the right to: know the categories and specific pieces of personal information we have collected about you; request deletion of your personal information; request correction of inaccurate information; and opt out of any "sale" or "sharing" of your personal information as those terms are defined under California law. We will not discriminate against you for exercising these rights. We do not knowingly sell personal information for money. 10.4 EU, UK, and other international visitors (GDPR/UK GDPR)

If you are located in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, or another region with data-protection laws, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, or object to our processing of your personal information, and to data portability. Where we rely on consent, you may withdraw it at any time. Our legal bases for processing include performing our contract with you (arranging your travel), your consent (for example, marketing), our legitimate interests in operating and improving our Services, and compliance with legal obligations. If your information is transferred to the United States or other countries, we take steps to ensure it is treated consistently with this Policy. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data-protection authority.

11. Children's Privacy

The Site and our Services are intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children under 13 (or under 16 where applicable) without parental consent. When you book family travel, the traveler information you provide to us — which may include details about minors — is provided by an adult on the minors' behalf. If you believe we have inadvertently collected information from a child in a manner inconsistent with this Policy, please contact us and we will take appropriate steps to delete it.

12. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date above and, where appropriate, provide additional notice. Your continued use of the Site after changes take effect means you accept the updated Policy.
